you're lost - rumi

Glory be to God - Mooji

Glory be to God, the single reality,
who alone is real,
from whom this play of existence emanate.
The Lord of the Universe.
The one who resides in the heart of all living beings,
the purpose we exist, the one we exist to discover.
There is no world of freedom apart of realizing
the Truth from our own deepest Self with He in,
He alone, with beyond all names and forms,
who alone can be called the timeless,
the imperishable, the unborn
and the uncreated one.
The highest purpose for which we exist to discover,
be in harmony with, be one with.
That which we can never not be.
Yet in this dream we imagine we are separated from.
Glory be to That One.
We have no other way to explain the source
from which we come, except Him.
He I call my Father and my own Self,
your Self, our Self, one Self.
The recognition of whom and through whom we find life,
timeless, imperishable.
That in this life we must transcend the ignorance
that appear to veil the timeless one.
I have no other purpose in life.
The same one I see in you,
whose name is I Am also,
the ungiven name.
The untruth never is,
and the Truth never is not.
So find this and be free.
This is the root of our connection.
Apparently broken only be ignorance
and arrogance, a separation imagined.
Thank You
Allhamdulilah

realize i am and don't think i am - ramana

the Self is near - nisargadatta

the world is - adams

The world just is. It isn't good or bad. It just is. It is you who make it good or bad. It is you who have opinions of how things should be, how they should look. The world itself has no opinions. It just appears as it is. But you give it life. Robert Adams

that's you - adams

Robert Adams
That’s you
“The egolessness of all things. You have to have a deep realization, and a deep feeling, that no thing has an ego. No thing has a cause, again. There’s no reason for anything to be. No thing really exists. You are not a sinner. You are not an evil person. Your past is dead, forget it. You’re born again, now, and all is glory and joy.
This is what it means to be born again, to realize that you exist now, in this moment. Not a moment ago, and never mind what’s going to happen a moment from now, but you exist in this moment as pure intelligence, unqualified love, absolute reality, unconditioned oneness. That’s you. You live in that reality. And again, that sets you free.”

i am _ nisargadatta

You are not this, there is nothing of yours in this, except the little point of 'I am'. 'I am this, I am that' is dream, while pure 'I am' has the stamp of reality on it. You have tasted so many things -- all came to naught. Only the sense 'I am' persisted -- unchanged. Stay with the changeless among the changeful, until you are able to go beyond.
When the 'I am myself' goes, the 'I am all' comes. When the 'I am all' goes, 'I am' comes. When even 'I am' goes, reality alone is.

all is well - Adams

Always remember all is well. All is well. All is perfectly well. Never forget that. Do not think about it. Do not try to analyze it. Just accept it in your heart. All is well, period, end. ~ Robert Adams

experience - spira

The problem is that we believe that objects such as bags, CD players, stairs, people, friends etc. have a reality that is independent and separate from Consciousness. That is, we believe that they have solidity, reality and continuity of their own.
However, they do not. In other words, their apparent reality (that is, their independence, solidity, continuity in time and space etc.) is not actual or real.
However, experience is real - the experience of the bag, the stairs, the friends etc. is real, but the reality of experience does not belong to apparent objects. It belongs to Consciousness.
So it is not that our friends or anything else are not there when we are not there, but rather that they were never there to begin with in the form we imagined them to have, that is, as independent objects. However, something was ‘there,’ (in fact all experience is ‘here’) something was present, but it was not an object, not an ‘other.’ It was Being, Consciousness, ‘I,’ friend-ing, stair-ing, box-ing, CD-ing.
So experience is real, but real as Consciousness, not real as an object.
Yes, it can be shocking and even scary to realise that the reality we invested in all these apparent things and people does not belong to the objects and people. It belongs to the Consciousness ‘aspect’ of experience.
But the fear gives way to humour, happiness and love when we realise our mistake and begin to see that our own being pervades all seeming things. (In fact, more than ‘pervades.’ All seeming things are made out of Being.) We cease to take our self or others for entities and cease considering the world to be made of dead inert matter. ‘I’ and all others or objects are one Being.
We also realise that all the psychological suffering in our lives was caused by this mistaken view of experience. As soon as we view experience as it really is, everything gradually falls into place.

have a cup of tea - adams

The solution is to have a cup of tea,
to relax...
The ordinary mind can never know the Self.
The Self can never be known by the ordinary mind...
Therefore what is the solution?
More sadhana?
More intense meditation?
No....
The solution is to have a cup of tea,
to relax.
The metaphor,
"to have a cup of tea" really means
to let go....
Stop thinking about it....
Relax completely....
The Self will make itself
known to you in it's own time....
You really do not have to do anything....
When you practice intense sadhana
it will lead you to a quiet mind,
but it will never lead you
to complete realization,
for the ordinary mind can
never be realized.....
There is absolutely nothing
you can do with your mind to awaken....
It can make you more peaceful.....
Therefore you have to learn to relax,
let go, to become desireless....
You need nothing,
yet you need everything....
You have no wants or needs,
yet everything is taken care of....
It makes no difference
whether you're sick or healthy,
rich or poor, sad or happy....
These things have nothing to do
with realization.....
You want to forget about your
body-mind phenomena....
Just observe your body
but never react to it....
Observe the world
but never react to it....
Observe your thoughts
but never react to them....
Allow whatever happens to happen....
Robert Adams.....

perceiving truly - acim

If you perceive truly you are cancelling out misperceptions in yourself and in others simultaneously. Because you see them as they are, you offer them your acceptance of their truth so they can accept it. This is the healing that the miracle induces. T/3/II/6.5-7

peace - adams

There are no special classes, or special meaning to words, or sacred hymns, anything else you have to remember. All you have to do is be your Self. When you are yourself, fear and doubt leave you. When you are yourself, superstition melts away. You have peace, unending. R. Adams

you are not the body

You are not the body, nor is the body yours, nor are you the doer of actions or the reaper of their consequences. You are eternally pure consciousness, the witness, in need of nothing - so live happily. Ashtavakra Gita

observe the ego - adams

To the extent you can observe your ego, to that extent will the ego become weakened. Ego does not like to observe itself. It wants to be master and have total control. And as you begin to watch without reacting, just watch, no feelings, the ego begins to dissipate. Robert Adams

effortlessness of awareness - adya

"Don’t become obsessed with eradicating the me. Just let the me be there. Let the mind be there. Only the mind has a problem with the mind. Just be in a relaxed way. When in doubt, relax. When con- fused, relax. When the mind is busy, relax. When you can’t relax, relax about that.
The me is essentially a constriction. That’s how it knows itself. And contracting against a constriction is simply more constriction. Sometimes you just need to have a good laugh at it all. Face the absur- dity of it and just breathe out. It takes no effort to be free.
Ease into being, feel the effortlessness of awareness. You are more okay than you can imagine. There is something in you that never struggles. Do you notice it now?"

no effort - nisargadatta

Nisargadatta Maharaj
No effort can take you there
“Nothing you do will change you, for you need no change. You may change your mind or your body, but it is always something external to you that has changed, not yourself. Why bother at all to change?
Realize once for all that neither your body nor your mind, nor even your consciousness is yourself and stand alone in your true nature beyond consciousness and unconsciousness. No effort can take you there, only the clarity of understanding.”

without waiting

When meditating, stay in awareness without waiting

Robert Adams

Everything is right the way it is. There never were any mistakes. Leave the world alone, mentally. Physically you'll gravitate to where you're supposed to be & go through the experiences that you're supposed to go through. Yet do not react to them, leave everything alone.

All your needs will be met if you have faith and trust the powers that be, that are within you and without you. You will always be taken care of. There is no doubt about this. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. You have absolutely nothing to fear. Robert Adams

already successful - adams

Do not let the world fool you. I reiterate again and again. The world appears very powerful. It makes you want things. It tells you to pursue this, to pursue that, to become successful. All this is an illusion. You are already successful. Robert Adams

our true nature

The point is that our true nature is not some ideal that we have to live up to. It's who we are right now, and that's what we can make friends with and celebrate. — Pema Chödron
